Hiking in Muddus national park

Been wanting to do it for awhile. Hike in the Muddus. Autumn colours were at its best in the second week of September in the Muddus and it was an intense 7hrs walk much worth.

The Muddus national park is located between Jokkmokk and Gällivare north of the Arctic Circle. Although it was in the middle of the week and low season the parking area was full of cars. So be prepared to meet people! It's not a lonely walk. If you prefer that then you are better off to hike in less known places in the Swedish woods. There are plenty!

Now I will give you some impressions of my hike. I walked the small loop of 24km clockwise. Most frequented is the 7km bit from the parking area to the waterfall.
