Camping Trip to Norway

In mid July we did a few days camping trip to Norway. We drove route 95 from Arvidsjaur via Arjeplog and crossed the border to Norway along Junkerdalen, a beautiful valley just across the border and then followed the E6 to Fauske. We stopped there to do a little bit of sightseeing and fishing.

We then continued along the E6 heading north and enjoyed the beautiful landscape...

...went swimming in a crystal clear lake...

...went swimming in the sea...

... did some fishing...

... made a fish soup...

... enjoyed the gorgeous views again and again...

... and caught a nice cod at the end of our trip!

We'll be back Norway! Thank you! 😊😊😊

Hot & Cold Summer Days

We've had some hot summer weather at the Arctic Circle in mid/end of July. For about two weeks we went swimming every day. That was wonderful! The kids enjoyed that very much, too.

The weather has been crazy the past weeks. From mid June to mid July it was unusual cold and dry weather. Not good for our garden! Then suddenly from one day to the other it became very hot with temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius. That lasted about 10 days or so. Then it became cold again from one day to the other with temps below 10 degrees Celsius. What's going on? Climate change are the well known words used nowadays...

The past week has been more steady with temperatures ranging between 16 to 22 degrees Celsius. That's more like it. We'll see as it continues and hopefully more rain will come along as well as it's been very dry the past weeks in many places in Sweden and even other parts of Europe.
