Our Red Gold - Strawberry Time in Lapland

In case you like strawberries as much as we do you can have two seasons in one summer! While strawberries ripen in May/June in mid Europe they are ready to eat in July/August here in Lapland, at the Arctic Circle. You don't believe it? Well, look for yourself!

Oh, there is nothing as delicious as the small wild strawberries found in Scandinavia.

Yes, smultron as they call them here in Sweden are delicious I agree, but those here are strawberries we planted in our garden.
