Winter Driving

Driving on snowy or icy roads at this time of the year is normal course of life in Lapland. Something you gotta get used to as a mid European. Hard to imagine that even main roads like the E45 are not snow or ice free. Enjoy the ride!

In Minnesota, they have the same snowy road conditions, but studded winter tyres are illegal becuase they "damage the roads." So everybody just drives around on bald tyres.

Wonderful roads, but only in Sweden will you see main roads that are like country paths!

I must go on a special snow/ice course I feel, as I'm still not comfortable driving in bad conditions...
